Thank you for your interest in the sixth annual U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Community Involvement Conference and Training, which will be held July 22-25, 2003, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This dynamic conference brings together public participation and community involvement professionals from across all EPA programs and EPA's federal, state, tribal, and local partners. By attending this conference you will have the opportunity to share expertise, participate in training, and network with your colleagues from around the country. Presentations will emphasize the process of public participation and community involvement by focusing on techniques and approaches used in regional and national community involvement programs. Presentations are designed to be interactive and encourage an open exchange of information. Share your expertise, network, and enhance your professional growth by attending this conference. This years conference is expected to attract more than 300 participants and will include plenary and concurrent workshop or panel sessions, training sessions, and networking sessions. Presentations will include 60, 90, and 120-minute concurrent sessions as well as four- and eight-hour training workshops. In addition, the conference may include several keynote addresses, evening social activites, site visits, and field trips.
